Born in 1955 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Richard Benish has been doing research in gravitational physics since 1980. Discovery of the lack of empirical data concerning gravitational phenomena inside massive bodies has motivated his primary goal, which is to do the experiment described here, so as to provide the missing data. His work has been published in Apeiron and Progress in Physics.
